Community Sauna
Monday and Wednesday Evenings, Sunday Mornings
Our Community Sessions are relaxed shared sauna experiences designed to bring people together through heat, cold water and connection with the outdoors.
Set within the dunes at Druridge Bay, these sessions are open to everyone and offer the chance to enjoy the sauna at a slower, more social pace — whether you come alone, with friends or meet new people along the way.
Move between the sauna, sea air and optional dipping in the North Sea before warming up around the fire pit or settling into the calm of the dunes.
Community Sessions take place regularly throughout the week including Sunday mornings and Monday and Wednesday evenings. Private sessions available at other times.
Ritual Sessions
Our Ritual Sessions are designed to slow things down.
Built around the rhythms of the sea, moon and morning light, these sauna experiences combine heat, cold water, stillness and connection with nature at Druridge Bay.
Whether you join us at sunrise, beneath the full moon or in the quiet moments of dawn, each session offers a chance to step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with yourself, the elements and the coastline around you.
Bring swimwear, water and warm layers. Some sessions may also include quiet outdoor relaxation amongst the dunes so please bring mats, cushions and blankets.
Ritual Sessions are 90 minutes and all include herbal tea and a cake of the day.

Sauna & Spa
Relax, Rejuvenate, Recover
We’re excited to introduce a new Sauna & Spa ritual at Sauna Hetta, created in collaboration with a local apothecary. These sessions include a sauna session with optional sea dipping followed by a self guided facial ritual in our spa bar next to the sauna.
Shape the experience your way—move between the wood-fired sauna, cold plunge buckets and beach, then make use of your own space at the spa bar to apply the products. Relax outside in our private sauna area with drink and sweet treat, and you’re welcome to wander over to the beach for a dip at any point during your session.
Robe & towel hire can be added if you’re gifting the experience or want to keep the spa element a surprise.

ON ARRIVAL
Please park where directed in your welcome email. If you arrive early you are welcome to leave your car in the car park and head over to the beach.
Please check in for the sauna in The Barn on The Bay or meet on the verandah if the barn is closed. Please don’t approach the sauna until your alloted time as there may be other users still changing.
